The Italian made M.E.P. AVT 400 is a robust and easy to use semi-automatic capping machine suitable for applying screw caps onto a range of bottles. The AVT400 has a capacity of 400-600 bottles per hour, with quick capping time – about 2.5 seconds per bottle.
Simple to use, the operator places a cap onto the neck of the bottle and then places both in the machine. When the machine is activated, the forming device lowers onto the neck of the bottle and shapes the capsule over the threaded bottle neck, thus forming a cap that can only be un-screwed by breaking a seal.
The screw capper can be used to apply a thread and seal standard olive oil 31.5x24mm or wine 30x60mm aluminium caps, but the machine can be adapted to take capsules with other dimensions. Height of bottles can be easily adjusted.
