The ‘Emanuel 2’ Mouli is the perfect tool for preparing fresh purees, sauces, soups and more. A stainless steel mouli is a hand-operated kitchen utensil that is used to process food by pushing the food over a grating disc. Food that is processed using a steel mouli ends up very fine making them ideal for creating sauces and purees. Mouli’s are commonly used for the process of making tomato passata. Other uses include making home-made baby-food as they can reduce the food to a soft and fine consistency that is perfect for babies to eat and making fruit or berry purees

This Italian made stainless steel mouli comes with three interchangeable 3 stainless steel grinding discs  for fine,medium and coarse textures.

  • Made from 18/10 stainless steel it is ideal for hot foods and will not stain
  • Three interchangeable strainer plates 
    – The size of the plate used is very much personal preference but as a guide: The fine disc is for homemade preserves, creamy sauces and baby food, the medium disc for apple sauce and vegetable soups, and the coarse disc for tomato passata, mashed potatoes and chunkier sauces.
