Skining Knife

The blade on the Skinning Knife is curved to allows for seamless skinning, so you can't easily pierce and catch the point of the knife, and enabling you to move it around with ease while keeping the hide intact around joints. Also ideal for separating meat, poultry or fish from the bone with precise control.

The blades are made of the best alloy of molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel and are ice temped for further hardness.  The blades are then sharpened by hand for a perfect cut and a practically unlimited duration. This stainless steel alloy and finishing technique are deisgned to have the perfect balance of being easy to resharpen at home, while holding a fine and sharp edge.

An anti-slip Polypropylene handle is comfortable and safe to grip over prolonged use, thanks to pleasing to hold and anatomically profiled shape.

About the company, Coltellerie Paolucci:

The Company ‘Coltellerie Paolucci’ was founded in 1972, but their routes go back much further, with the Paolucci opening up their metal working shops in 1791 in Frosolone, Italy. The town of Frosolone “with the roots made of steel” has been forging metal for knives and swords for over 1000 years.

Today Coltellerie Paolucci has established itself internationally. Coltellerie Paolucci is still based in Frosolone, Italy to this day. Today’s blades must be the result of a perfect alloy, where the Paolucci family’s 250 years of knowledge come together to produce a blade with the strength of steel, the heat treatment and the rust resistance of chromium, together with nickel and vanadium, blend to ensure strength and hardness. The handles are made of high quality materials and have an anatomical shape. This has characterised the constant success of Paolucci products.
