Made from solid Fir wood, these mixing boxes or Maidda are great for dough or meat mixing. 

Made in Calabria, Italy.

The wooden construction remulates humidity: allowing excess humidity to be absorbed, improving both leavening and rolling out. It also improves leavening, thanks to the higher natural temperature of the wood, the leavening process improves in shorter times.
