Our range of Italian made conical based variable capacity tanks from Minox are ideal for storage and fermentation of wine, spirits or olive oil. Conical tanks are ideal for separating sediment from the product, while sediment settles in the base, the outlet for racking is placed above the ‘cone’.

Conical base tanks are equipped with floating lid and full variable capacity kit, welded legs, 2 outlets for racking and a total discharge outlet, and 2 taps.

Variable capacity tanks have a large opening the full diameter of the tank, a floating lid is placed inside, and a seal is pumped up against the inside wall of the tank, this enables the lid to be held in place at any level and provides a full airtight seal. Having the lid fixed directly above your product, the tank is always ‘full’, and does not allow oxidation or air to impact the quality of your product. The variable capacity lid features a two-stage waterless airlock, ensuring that co2 can get out, but nothing can get in.

Included in the price is the floating lid with seal, pump, an airlock and 2 taps.
