Rectangular blue STEEL pan for oven.

PRE-USE TREATMENT

BURN

Bake the trays in a preheated oven at 200 ° for about ten minutes, without oiling the tray (this step is used to  burn the industrial  protective oil present on it).

ATTENTION

In this phase, the burning of the oil will produce an incredible smell, open balconies and windows to air everything and do not inhale when you go to open the oven door.

Let the pan cool and clean it with paper towels. Grease it well with seed oil in a not excessive quantity and proceed to a second burn, baking at 220 ° until reaching the smoke point of the oil, that is, after about 4-5 minutes.

Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool. At this point, if the pan is covered with a uniform patina, the treatment is finished, otherwise repeat step 2 (that is, grease the pan again with seed oil and go back to the oven). But if you have done the second step right, there will be no need.

After use, the blue iron pans must always be kept oiled  and stored in dry places, especially if used occasionally and contact with acid substances must be avoided. To clean it, use a soft oiled cloth and pass it back into a hot oven. 

Absolutely not recommended to wash with water and caustic solutions.
