The system is similar to that for making coffee in the filter but with some important particularity. The Neapolitan coffee is composed of an upper part and a lower simple double-body: two cylinders, the one outside, the other extension with built-in filter. After putting the water in the outer cylinder fits inside the second cylinder after having filled the filter with big ground coffee, then closes by inserting the top, also cylindrical, with its beak. When the water comes to a boil you have to remove the pot from the heat and turn it upside down. The water drops drip, giving an infusion of delicate and soft body.

Neapolitan Coffee Maker “Cuccumella” - 3 Cups
Coffee made in the Neapolitan Moka "Cuccumella" has a particular flavour with an aroma that is less intense but more complex in flavour than pressure brewed espresso.
Unlike a moka pot, a Cuccumella does not use the pressure of steam to force the water through the coffee, relying instead on gravity.
The Neapolitan coffee maker "Cuccumella" is formed by four elements that are all mounted together and interlock with one another:
- The tank with the handle and a small hole.
- The container for ground coffee.
- The metal filter.
- The jug with which the coffee is poured with a handle that fits into the tank.
The water and ground coffee are filled into the pot, and placed on the stovetop. When the water comes to a boil you have to remove the pot from the heat and turn it upside down.
The water drops down through the coffee, giving an infusion of delicate and soft body.
